About Beijing Dumpling
Located at 116-14A Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375, Beijing Dumpling operates as a shanghainese serving Forest Hills in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ9:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Beijing Dumpling at (718) 268-5808; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 225 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Forest Hills is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Forest Hills follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Small, not as filled fried dumplings. Just Ok. Dipped them in soy sauce and diluted sriracha. Sesame pancakes with peking duck were lacking in filling as well. Can mostly taste the sauce on the pancakes. Not so satisfying but cheap prices.

Service was quick and polite, food was inexpensive (though serving sizes werenβt too big, it was still cheap to buy two items) and delicious. A nice hole in the wall for sure. The lady at the cashier even gave me a can of Canada Dry for $1, which really made my day.

Dumplings/buns were smaller than expected for the price. Got 8 piece assorted dumpling and pork steamed bun. Assorted is 2 veg, 2 pork, 2 shrimp and 2 chicken, which is bad value. Stick to pork. Dumpling stuffing was not alot as well. Steamed bun was about 3-4 in wide. Also didnt give me a fork after asking for one. Maybe im just used to portions/pricing in flushing/chinatown.

I come here every once in a while for my lunch break. Itβs definitely a hole in the wall and with limited seating. The prices are really good & inexpensive especially for Forest Hills. The dumplings are pretty small and not filling if you just get 8, so sometimes I get 16. I like the classic pork & chives the best. Their sesame pancake sandwiches could be better. They lack a lot of flavor & seasoning. Iβve tried their teriyaki dishes before and itβs very greasy & heavy. I wasnβt a huge fan. The service here is good. The workers are very nice & quick at serving. Iβd recommend people to come here if theyβd like a quick fix.

A fairly decent spot for some dumplings! 3.85 stars tbh. The prices are nice and low, but food is decent at best. The dumplings are tasty and packed with flavor but the biggest issue for me was the consistency. It was a little bit too chewy for my liking. Each bite took a bit of work. The sesame bread duck sandwich was really delicious. The bread had a light crisp and the duck was flavorful as it was nicely sauced. The Dan Dan noodles are okay. The dish was spicy but unfortunately lacked a lot of flavor. The bubble tea was delicious and refreshing! While I had some minor complaints about the food, the prices are at a good deal. I would order from here again!
